"Guess your dreams always ends, they dont rise up just descend"

just been reading the BEST issue of any magazine ever
since the december '97 edition of UNCUT (which had a
big and VERY good special about Joy Division
coinciding with the release of "Heart and Soul" Box set)
ie the "MOJO4Music magazine", which has a HUGE
special on the Manchester music scene, which exploded
after 1976, loads and loads of interesting stuff about
Joy Division, New Order, The Smiths, Morrissey,
the 4 main bands as i see it, and other interesting stuff about
Buzzcocks, Happy Mondays and Stone Roses, and, sadly,
the GAY CRAPband called Oasis (theyre nothing but a bunch
of LAME beatles-thiefs, prob THE most overrated band of all times,
not Beatles, im talkin about the hyped bullshit called Oasis),
theres a big interesting article about martin "Zero" Hannet, the
legendary producer who shaped the Joy Division sound,
this edition of this magazine is a totalen MUSTHAVE
for any fan of Joy Division, New Order, The Smiths and Morrissey !!!!!!!

Kudos to Peter for giving me it, a big THANK YOU my friend !! :D

hd theft and a new stereo

Peter was here last night, he brought along a brandnew
external HD, and when he left he took about half my
hd with him ;) Ok not really, but almost,
over 45 gb of my music and all my Yes minister/Prime minister
and some other stuff, incl some overly romantic films ^^
Bought a new stereo today (there went the food cash for this
month) cuss my old sorta died on me hmmmm
this one can play mp3s, and burnt homemade cd-s, hooray !
My old one could, at elast intially, play burnt cd-s but the last couple
of years he (or she) refused, and at the end it wouldnt play
original cd-s as well,
currently im playing disc 5 of 8 with all of the Front Line Assembly
mp3 collection (spanning from the start up to 2001),
containing Circuitry, Hardwired, Livewired,
Plasticity and Colombian (Columbian??) Necktie

l its like 4000 f in the shadows, hmm have i inadvertantly
been beamed to Florida or something then?? hmm

Been using the Fraps prog, been doing some ingame filming
from Doom3 and Far cry, might upload some of it on Youtube someday

chick that won (!!) Big brother, has managed to fall off some moped (!!! LOL)
and hurt herself .... Shes the main reason one withhold where one lives
when people i stumble across asks me WHERE i live,
she makes me ashamed of being from same spot as she is

well... umm.. uhmm.. bollocks to Americas Army,
it sucks anyhow, thats all you (gamers) need to know,
dont waste time with it, even though its free,
go get DOOM 3 or FAR CRY, but dont get Far Cry
if you plan on modding it cuss its effing impossible
to get it working !
currently playing -
Elektric Music - "Esperanto"
EM is, obviously, Karl Bartos (ex-Kraftwerk member,
and his site is real nice in its design btw, go check it out)
and this album contains the one song karl did which can
compete with anything Kraftwerk ever did, im obviously
talking about "TV", such a masterpiece when it comes to
electronic music ! Simplistic (fyi "less is more" is his,
and Kraftwerks motto), genius, brilliant

game review

or perhaps, as the CS people would say
(I once was a part of the CS community),
g4M3 R3v!3VV .. hmm nm anyhow,
I downloaded Americas Army 2 weeks ago,
and installed it, rather straightforward allinall
(none of that CRAPPY Steam nonsense that Valve
forces onto the halflfie people these days)
and then i thought and expected something like
"K i installed the muthah, lets go waste some people!"
but ooooh noooooooooo, thats not how it works,
before actual playing one has to sit through some
REALLY tedious and immensly BORING "lessons"
(rofl ive done actual military service AND ive played
shooter game ever since CS Beta (early 2000)
so i think i KNOW how to cock, load, shoot and reload
any guns there is, but after all of that crap was over,
i got stuck on some test one has to do, a little houseshootout,
you know one of those thingies with enemies AND friendly
paperfigures turn around and you have to shoot the baddies
only, one hit on a friendly figure and youre toast (i could see how THIS
test would be useful in games that actually HAS those scenarios
such as SWAT 3 and 4, but why that moment is in a military FPS
is beyond me ....) so after like 10 tfailed tests i got bored
and simply ran thru the test, shooting at everything i could see
and then i PASSED ..!! Go figure ^^
After all of that CRAPAGE i went online, expecting a LOT of various
maps (its not that old game so it should have tons of maps)
but imagine my amazement when i could choose between 5 maps
(but really it was 3 cuss 2 of them was alike another to 99 pcg)
so i fired up "Border", kinda reminded me a little about the "Dust"
map from CS (but obviously better looking)
but, and heres a BIG cruncher, Americas Army (AA for short)
uses a modfied version of the Unreal engine, and that sorta
rules out 60 pcg of the gamers in the world, ie the Nvidia
users, cuss that graphic engine makes a LOT of those
"wear n tear" ("spray n prey"? lol) graphical anomalies
which makes it kinda unplayable, but since i have NO money
to get another game atm (cough BF2 cough :D) i guess i had to
try it anyhow, despite those anomalies,
the gameplay is straightforward, roundbased with 2 opposing teams
exactly like CS but with one huge difference - AA has no buysystem
and no cashsystem, all there is, is a basic Colt M4 (yup its true,
a shooter anno 2006 with NO wep choice option!!),
so i grabbed the Colt and chose a team and began to play,
my first reaction was "wtf who poured out oil and butter on this map then??!?
And why is everything ^Matrixtime^ ?" It felt like everything was
in slowmotion, and my dude on the screen (ie me duh)
was moving like he had been drinking 12 Newcastle Brown Ale
just prior to beginning on this game, everythiung was saggy laggy and sloooow,
but i did manage to shoot a guy, unfortunately though,
for him but more so for me, he was on MY team,
but why he was rushing towards me as i prepared my little foxhole
(i wa son Defenders team) is beyond me, first up you only
retreat like that IF you have some teammates facing the enemy,
if ones alone you BACK, thus letting teammates know youre NOT
a bogey , anyhow he looked a lot like the enemy, and no wonder -
all unis look identical (!!) so theres no mystery theres a LOT of
teamkills in this game, so it baffles me this game sorta distinguish
itself by saying its a REALISTIC game, which it is not btw,
its impossible to create a realistic shooter game,
anyhow this game uses a "tracing system" ie you must
signup on their homesite and choose a name, and then
your actions is stored in some huge (i presume its hugfe since they
claim they have 6 million players) computer, backtracking
everything you incl tk (teamkill), your overall score,
your Honour points etc, but anyhow i cant be bothered finishing this
review now, gotta play some REAL game ie DOOM3 hehehe ^^
will finish this review tomorrow

footie and ww2

wow the french won, i guess my original predict may still
come true (just before world cup started i held the french
and Brazil as prime contenders), will be interesting to see,
i surely hope they beat the italians =)

currently watching -
Auschwitz - The Nazis and the Final Solution
Very interesting and (since its BBC) very wellmade documentary

currently reading -
Bosse Schön - Svenskarna som stred för Hitler
("the Swedes that fought for Hitler", about the Swedish
volunteers in the elite nazi Waffen-SS (("armed SS"))

axis powers etc

well, Klinsmann met his Waterloo today,
or if one feels a little more cynical one could say
that von Paulus met his Stalingrad,
the inventors of spaghetti won, sadly,
im no fan of the german "panzerfaustschlachtmaschine"
but i rather see them win than the italians,
in other observations - Wayne Rooney looks exactly like Shrek
and Beckham sounds exactly like Martin Gore ..... hmmm

Tour deFrance has begun the other day, but since they removed my
Eurosport channel, i cant see it :(

nostalgi som dock håller

Playing "Sounds like a melody (extended version with the
Berlin Symphony orchestra)" by Alphaville, easily their best tune ever,
im in love with those REAL violins, this was recorded back in
stoneage ie 1984, when EVERYBODY was experimenting with samplers
(including somewhat retarded heavy metal bands - yuck!)
and obviously so was Alphaville, being an electronic-based band,
but they used REAL violins on this one, ubercool! :)
And Marian Gold is one underrated singer, he has a very wide range on
his vocals, download "A victory of love" and l-i-s-t-e-n !
