Colin Mcrae, the famous rally driver (and name to
a couple of good, but HARD, pc/psx games)
has managed to crashland with his helicopter
(it pays driving cars apparently) and die,
but somehow, realist as i am, i predict there
will be one more game with his name anyhow,
i doubt EA Games wont bring out one more
cuss its a LOT ofcash involved ..

Reading, again, Antony Beevor's excellent book about
the last halfyear of WW2, which was fought solely
on german soil by that time, "Berlin - Downfall",
he really manages to show the true and immensly brutal
face of the Third Reich, it was displayed, at full force,
at the last months of the war, and anyone whos living in the
notion about Hitler's "love for aryans" will deff be in for a
shock, in the last phase he wanted to totally annihilate each
and everyone incl the german people,
and perish in a "Ragnarök", old Swedish word meaning the
last battle of Tor and Oden in the Viking (or Norse) mythology,
where everything, and everyone, dies in a final battle,
if armament minister Albert Speer hadnt opposed Hitler
in the given orders of Hitler about destroying "the fabric
of the german peoples every need", incl factories, buildings,
autobahns, food factories, everything that the germans would
need to buildup Germany after the war, its estimated that
millions would have died of starvation,

and the chapters about the rapes of the german women
is shocking, its estimated 2 MILLION women were
raped, no, not 2 million rapes, 2 million rapeD women (!),
most of those were gangrapes and most of those 2 million
raped women were raped several times,
ranging from as low age as 12 up to 70year old
women, as you can imagine those that were as old as 70
usually died, there was reports of massive gangrapes
by the "heroic" russians of 25 in a row, in 1 hour all of them
raped an 18yearold girl, she later died of that experience,
there was a lot of instances of gangrapes,
and given the fact that there was about 4 million russians
involved in the battle of Berlin, half of them are rapists,
50 percent of those "heroes" are in fact serial rapists ..
Remember THAT the next time some old russian geeser
(theyre ALWAYS covered in medals and honours
arent they? Half the chest is like 45 medals)
sits and talk about how he "liberated" Berlin,
no doubt raping a lot of women,
and to contradict the myth that the russkis
ran around in Berlin with the Kalashnikov,
they did not. Actually one of the very first
Assault rifles was the german MP44,
but I digress from the topic,
this book by Beevor and the "bible" of WW2,
im talking about William L Shirer's "The Rise and Fall
of the Third Reich", are some of the very best
Ive read about WW2 in general and Third Reich in particular,
theyre the standard basic litteratures for anyone interested
in these topics

I saw the latest episode of Monk last night,
"Mr Monk is up last night", funnily enough
thats exactly what happened to me as well,
i couldnt sleep, and then at 9 am (!) sunday morning (!!)
