i got, heres the latest on the doom mod i made,
267 downloads, not too bad since its my very first mod
and yes, its still on the front page =)
Lets see if my new upcoming mod will be given that
reward as well, im prob doing a little combo,
the first shotgun mod will be in it (with updated sounds
and soundshaders) and also the machinegun (which is a nice
description albeit wrong, actually its NOT a machinegun
but a sub machinegun, it looks suspicisouly a lot like
the FN P90 SMG, a beltfed M60, now THATS a
machinegun per definition, but nm) which i tweaked,
and i might include the rocketlauncher, which i changed into
a grenadelauncher, the latter serves a better purpose for the
UAC corridors and installation of the Mars outpost imho) :)

I smell n00bery

in EA GAMES, worlds suckiest programmers any category,
they were responsible for Medal of Honor,
i just bought the MOHAA Warchest 4cd box,
HUGE mistake! Not only, and this is unheard of,
the default install-path contains a HUGE mistake,
something only a full bonafied n00b could do,
heres the default installpath -
C/ProgramFiles/EA GAMES/MOHAA,
now anyone with even the slightest experience can
see directly WHY this isnt good at all, yup,
"EA GAMES" part, notice theres a spacebar between the
2 words "EA" and "GAMES", lmao only a n00b could make such
a HUGE FLAW, and the rest of the game, after I corrected THAT
immensly big flaw, is, with one word, SUCKAGE,
easily the WORST WW2 shooter I ever played, filled with
crappy programming, first up about half of the weapon sounds
cant be heard (!), yeah you heard right, half the weaponry
does not make even a squeak when fired, which, obviously,
removes a LOT of the soul of any shooter, then theres the fact
that the mapload does not work, when any map is ended
and the game loads another one, it crashes, so i have to
load every map from the console
(do rem this isnt a mod or anything, its a full game released by a
"serious" game developer, altho thats hard as hell to believe after
playing this game), and on top of that, occasionally the game just quits
and goes back to Windows,
so this Medal of Honor : Allied Assault War chest 4cd
collectors box, is not worth ONE single penny,
but i guess thats what i get for actually BUYING a game,
will not make that mistake again, especially not with
EA GAMES, total, and utter, n00bery

MOHAA Warchest gets 0 of 5 points and is being dispatched to
Mr Betruger, formerly of the UAC corporation,

on the Mars outpost

Well I do have both Return to Castle Wolfenstein
and Call of Duty, two similar games who just are
soooooooooooooooo much better than Medal of (dis)honor,
easily the suckiest WW2 fps ever released,
stay clear of it !

kino

well im kinda jaded when it cmes to kinos,
but the last two kinos i saw was immensly good,
first i saw "The last king of Scotland", its about
a fictious scottish doctor who worked for Idi Amin,
the funny thing is there actually WAS a scottish doc
who worked for Amin, but this guy depicted in the kino is a
madeup one, anyhow, Forest Whitaker IS Idi Amin,
he deserves the Oscar award hes nominated for,
thats for damn sure! Very impressive performance.
The other kino i saw was "The departed",
and despite casting two doll faces as leading actors
(dicapriscioso and matt damon) its a cool flick,
i was surprised of the ending. couldnt ever imagine a
hollywood flick ending like THaT ! Cool as eff man! ;)
And looking at Vera Farmigas eyes didnt exactly hurt either
hehe ^^

Speaking of Gestapo (short for Geheimne Staatspolizei

speech held by Bush, obviously i didnt wanna see (or hear) it

laying kinda on me, so i had to lay around for like 30 mins of it,
never heard such nice rhetorics before, 3 million words
and absolutely SOD ALL said, well done Mr Bush,
Sir Humphrey Appleby would have been very pleased,
the whole thing reminded me a lot of when Joseph Goebbels,
reich minister for propaganda in the Third Reich,
held his famous (?) "Wollt ihr den totalen Krieg?"
("Do you want a total war?" speech in february 1943,
after 2-3 sentences said by the good (?)
doctor Goebbels, the crowd stood up and applauded,
exactly like this Bush speech, the similarities are uncanning,
but of course hes not even close to the intelligence, authority
or the charisma of Dr Goebbels, but in many ways
the speech was almost word for word of that the good (?)
doctor held, "either we win or the enemy will conquer the world!",
as said the similarities were uncanning, its interesting tho
how some people everything is either black, or white,

hmmm i see a lot of forum posts that all goes
something like this -- "help i cant convert
wav/mp4/wma/mp3/flac/whatever file extension into

Hehe the solution is quite simple, instead of dl
a lot of progs that can only convert ONE file format
into ONE another file format, simply use
dBpowerAMP ! This great prog converts any format
into whatever else format of your choice,
the greatness of it is, imho, that you dl the prog itself
and then dl the codecs you want, thats how it differs from
other similar progs, instead of having every codec inbuilt from start
(and thus making it a total cpu-usage whore) you simply dl
the codecs you want, they have EVERY codec on the homepage,
i used this prog since early 2001 and im not gonna change it !! :-D
And yes its a FREEware, no bullshite about 30day trials and similar
nonsense ;)
ATM im convertin the Depeche Mode immensly rare "Its called a heart
emotion remixes" which derives, in this unique instance, from CD
ie its NOT the old scratched vinylrip hehehe im sure lil Patrik

Bought a very good dvd last night, "D-Day 6.6.44",
probably the best account on the events on that day,
no wonder since its a BBC production, its re-enactments
interspursed with original footage, amazingly well done !
And it was quite a find, around 4-5 bucks =)

coolest series ever ! its not the funniest,
since its really not like the other UK humour such as
Bladder or The Young Ones, more kinda umm cozy humour,

ive been told that the utorrent is the best
torrentclient, so i tried it, but it wasnt,
actually utorrent is worthless, all of a sudden
it stops midway of uploading, and then its impossible
to restart that specific torrent, and its also impossible
to open up a port in the fw so i can be whats known as
"connectable", so fuck utorrent, im going back to Bitcomet,
the only client that WORKS as it should, i dont give
a shit its banned on most trackersites, i mean whats the difference
since its impossible to be regged anywhere anyhow ??

hmmmm cant choose which The Cure album
is THE nr 1, either "Disintegration"
or "Pornography", I love the dark, soothing
sweeping sound of "Disintegration", which has
such good songs as "Pictures of you", "Fascination
Street", "Prayers for rain" (prob the best on the album),
"Last dance" and "Same deep water as you",
and then "Pornography" album, which is the most
aggro, mad, fuckedup and desperate-sounding
album i ever heard, the first line on the first track
ie "One hundred years" is "It doesnt matter if
we all die", that pretty much sets the tone on the
whole album, "Figurehead", "A short-term effect",
"The hanging garden", "Siamese twin", "A strange
day" and "Cold", hmmm thats the whole album
except for the last track which isnt much of a song,
merely sounds.
It would a little easier to choose Top 3 albums,
I think hmm,
then it would be like this --

"Disintegration"
"Pornography"
"The head on the door"
with two albums nosing those three
very close up their bums in form of
"Faith" and
"Seventeen seconds"

And theres one album thats not nosing any of
these five albums, in fact its so very much NOT

cowpat of an album), and "Wild mood swings"

new sounds (which are WAY better than the lame original ones),
