Saw some documentary called "Auschwitz, the forgotten
evidence", they showed how Allied reconnaisance
phtographed the camp from air in summer of 1944,
but they didnt do anything about it,
im in agreement with prof. David Cesarani who argues,
alongside 5 survivors of Auschwitz, that the Allied SHOULD
have bombed the camp, even at the risk of endangering
the lives of the inmates, as one of the survivors said,
"id rather die of a brithish bomb than go on living like this",
and since Auschwitz was one of 6 death camps
(all the others was work camps) all the inmates
knew they would be killed sooner or later,
one of them said that "had the Allies bombed the camp it would
have sent a very important signal - you are not forgotten!"
The Allies did bomb a nearby IG Farben rubberplant gasoline
factory in the autumn of 1944, and some of the bombs almost hit the
camp (the factory was located at Monowitz, just a couple of kilometers away)
and apparently, the inmates all cheered, because it meant that
the Allies was advancing to the camp (the Soviet Red Army
liberated it in January 1945) but one wonders just HOW
many lives could have been saved IF the Allied had bombed
Auschwitz in august 1944? Apparently Churchill was the driving
force behind it, but he was outnumbered by the Allied command
who claimed it would be better to try to crush the Nazis as swiftly
as possible, and that it would slow down the final victory if they
had to diverge bombers for a mission to bomb Auschwitz,
I guess both sides were, in essence, right

birth update

my siss and her guy had to go to Jönköping hospital
late last night with their newborn child, apparently their
facility on premature born babies is superior to ours
(i really cant tell cuss i never been there),
a helicopter was dispatched last night from Stockholm to
kalmar BB ((BB=Barn Börd, hmmm sorta "childrens birth"
or "childrens originplace" or something like that)
so they took the baby to Jönköping,
hope everything will be OK ! : )

NEVER USE XPLITE

what a piece of C R A P GAY USELESS "PROG" !!
On paper it sounds good, "remove XP progs that
Microsoft dont want YOU to remove with a simple click!"
BUT in reality it SUCKS, reason 1 - i dl it on the official
site, but theres TWO versions, one thats free called
Trial (i think you can see where this is going huhh)
and a PAY version, I have no intention of paying for something
that i do not know what it is (noone with IQ over 15 has)
so i tried out the Trial version, i fail to see HOW this Trial
version lives yp to the statement of
"remove XP progs that
Microsoft dont want YOU to remove with a simple click!"
at all, one cant do JACK SHITE in this trial version,
EVERYTHING relating to XP is marked with a "pro" (THATS
a laugh, "pro", nothing pro with this crap prog whatsoever)
so i couldnt do anything at all with this trial version, so one wonders
WHAT is the point in a "free" or "trial" version when one cant
do ANYTHING with it??? Geeez do not bother with this LAMEDOM!
And the second reason XPLite SUCKS is that i did remove,
or tried to anyhow, to remove the inbuilt "games" that comes with XP,
all that happened was that my custom mousecursor vanished
and that Notepad.exe isnt available anymore
(so how tthe #"#! am i supposed to read .txt files now??!?
Holy crap, i thought THIS kind of nubbery was long gone ...
Im guessing XPlite is programmed by Microsoft,

far cry mod dead

the Jurassic park mod for Far Cry is dead,
such a shame cuss it looked very interesting,
but its only logical that it ended since the trend is
that almost all mods related to Far Cry has effectively deceased
since the seuqel to far Cry, Crysis (yeah i know, THE most
awful name for a game ever in the history of names on games)
was announced not long ago, its due soemtime this coming xmas,
but since i wont be able to play it on higher than LOW settings,
im not gonna buy it, hmm maybe dl the demo, the screeners
ive seen looks very good, but buying it? Nope, not even dl it

Far Cry could, and should have had a better legacy than it has at present,
but a very nonmoddable-friendly engine and a small community
has secured its demise, the far cry community will by next summer
consist of around 4 people, i wont be 1 of them,
im dead tired on the far cry engine, a more nonmoddable,
frustratingly unstable and crappy engine (for modding) isnt around
Doom 3 is way way better, talk about some HUGE difference in programming!
Far cry was programmed by 3 brothers, some turks living in germany,
NO offence meant to them but their ability to program a STABILE game
isnt really up to pair with the guys over at ID Software,
THATS for sure !
