Early morning, april four Shot rings out in the memphis sky
Yup i dl the entire U2 back catalogue,
around 2 gb, and I still claim two things -
"The unforgettable fire" is both the BEST song
and BEST U2 album,
and Larry Cullen or Mullen or Swollen or whatever
hell his name is, hes the most lame drummer i ever heard,
Dr Avalanche (the drummachine of The Sisters of Mercy)
has WAY more feel over its drumming ffs
"The joshua tree" is prob the most overrated U2 album,
theres 3 good songs on it, and the rest stinks
horses crap, how the hell can people say this is the best U2????
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
"Early morning, april four
Shot rings out in the memphis sky
Free at last, they took your life
They could not take your pride"
Of the U2 songs from the 90s
i love "Lemon", Bono plays his Macphisto
role :) But the best U2 are, obviously,
from the early 1980s, the first four U2 are the best,
"Boy", "October", "War" and the best ever,
"The Unforgettable fire"
Bono always claims his inspiration to be a singer comes from
the late and great Ian Curtis, the main inspiration for U2
was Joy Division, one can sorta hear that in the first
albums, and well, one can have worse inspiration hehe =)
